Finding your next great read can be a challenge! We have included a few resources that we love, and if you need more help feel free to e-mail a librarian for some suggestions.

Goodreads
Goodreads is a wonderful resource to track your reading and to see what other people are recommending. Lists are generated by users, so it's a great opportunity to find what like minded people read. 

Novelist Plus
Novelist Plus is an excellent resource found on the Digital Maine Library. Scroll through their alphabetical listing of databases until the Novelist Plus link is reached. This site helps you find books similar to what you've read, and breaks down books by different key components.

What's Next Database
The Kent District Library's What's Next Database is a spectacular website if you're looking for what to read next in your series. Searchable by author, series, book title, or genre.

Literature Map
Literature Map is an excellent means of finding your next favorite author. Enter an author's name and this resource will create a visual web of similar authors. The closer an author's name is to the center of the web, the more similar they are to the author for whom you searched.
